I have LOVED this doe since she was born. Look at how she stands as a newborn lower left! But, for whatever reason, she was a shy one! You could tell she REALLY wanted to be my friend, cause she kept the eye contact going, and if you got her in your arms she would melt and give kisses. Since she freshened and was milked for a while, she tamed down a lot. I caught the Rear udder picture a few weeks into lactation and was very happy with what I saw! Unfortunately when fair time came, she must have already been weaning her 2 boys and had mostly dried up. Meadow is long and stretchy and dairy like her mother, Faline. And, according to these pictures, her udder is much like her dam’s. Faline is pictured lower left and Sire low right. Kidding History— 2015 X Armour, Twin Bucks, retained Spike Jones. 2016– X Oregon for May 5th kids. |
